4th of July at the Cottage

Hi all, sorry for not updating the blog very often but I guess those who are still tuning in from time to time have come to expect our once-every-few-months update. We're taking tons of pictures and videos but just don't seem to get them on the blog in a timely fashion. Anyway, enough of that, lets talk about what the Cobb family has been up to.

We drove about 8 hours north to the Cobb cottage in Frankfort, Michigan. It was the first time there in 2 years so we were excited to get there and relax. Plus, it was the first trip to the cottage with baby Natalie! We were excited to show her around the beaches, take her on a boat ride and sit by the water at night while enjoying a fire.

Natalie is a crawling fool and she employs two techniques for getting around: the normal crawl and the army crawl. She's been doing the army crawl since April so she's really good at it and she's a little less stable while doing a "normal" crawl but both get her to where she wants to go. She hasn't stood up on her own yet but Jason will get her to stand on her own while she holds on to the coffee table and will usually last about 30 seconds or so before she wants to get down. Either way, Mom and Dad are just fine chasing her crawling instead of walking!

A Cobb family tradition... Getting measured for the very first time on the measuring post. While the cottage is different, Jason's Dad has his measurements on the post from when he was 1-year-old. Aunt Jen, Uncle Eric and cousin Hadley are all on there as well (among others)!
